Scholarship Drive Information - 2026

This year marks the 60th anniversary of the Waunakee Scholarship Fund! Since its inception in 1966, the fund has awarded $1,514,245 in scholarships to 6,491 students pursuing higher education following graduation. Last year alone, $69,750 in scholarships was awarded. This has been possible only because of the generosity of our wonderful community. 

As the community grows, so does our student population and the need for ongoing support of those students. The 2026 Waunakee Community High School graduating class is 316 students. It is anticipated that 85-90% of these students will attend a post-secondary education institution.

On Wednesday, April 22, the WHS Senior Class participants will canvas the Waunakee Community to raise scholarship money. All money collected is EQUALLY distributed to seniors who apply for this scholarship and participate in the Fund Drive. Donations can also be made online through the District's fundraising site, Classmunity, or checks can be sent and payable to: Waunakee Scholarship Fund and mailed to: Waunakee Scholarship Fund, 301 Community Drive, Waunakee WI 53597. Our goal this year is to raise $70,000.

All money collected is EQUALLY distributed to seniors who apply for this scholarship AND participate in the Fund Drive. Checks are made payable to the college/university that the student plans to attend.
