The Waunakee Community School District presents.... Summer learning opportunities!

Camp Invention 2026 will run 6/15/26 to 6/19/26.

Summer School classes will run 6/22/26 to 7/30/26.

The Waunakee Community School District employs 300+ staff each summer. Summer School hiring will start in January 2026. We will be offering more than 500 different classes/sections for students. In 2025, we had more than 2,800 students who participated in our summer programming.

Waunakee offers exciting and dynamic Summer School morning programs for students who will be entering grades 4K - 12 grade in the fall.
June 22 - July 30, 2026
Monday -Thursday mornings, unless noted.

We strive to involve enthusiastic, well qualified educators and support staff in our summer school program and look forward to you joining our exceptional staff.

Paper applications are not accepted. All positions will be posted on this website and must be applied for online. All positions are open until filled.

We will begin accepting applications and hiring for 2026 Summer School teacher and para positions January 2026.

Staff Orientation

Summer School Orientation

Attendance is required for all staff

Teachers, Para-Educators, Classified Staff, and Teaching Assistants:
Teachers, para-educators, classified staff, and teaching assistants are compensated for this orientation session at their hourly rate of pay. For staff paid by contract, this time was included in your contract. Attendance is mandatory. Failure to attend will result in your contract being docked. For staff paid by True Time, you need to sign in at the time your orientation starts.
