Local scholarships are only available to Waunakee Community High School students, and local committees work with the counseling office to promote scholarships and facilitate the application process. Local scholarships have a similar application timeline, as well as a common application procedure.
Local scholarships will be posted throughout the fall and winter as the local committees verify their scholarship information. It is in students' best interest to continuously check the scholarship database in Naviance, but students will receive notifications and opportunities for support throughout the year about local scholarships.

WCHS students can apply for area, state and national scholarships. These scholarships are generally more competitive, as they review a larger pool of applicants. These scholarships also vary in due date, as well as the application process. Area, state and national scholarships are not facilitated through the high school, and applications go directly to outside committees. Area, state and national scholarships can be filtered through the scholarship database in Naviance.

In addition, many states and colleges use your FAFSA information to determine your eligibility for state and school aid, and some private financial aid providers may use your FAFSA information to determine whether you qualify for their aid.
